Amerikick (formerly known as American Karate Studios) was founded in 1967 by Grandmaster Dennis Tosten in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For over 40 years Grandmaster Tosten enjoyed the title of being Philadelphia’s oldest established karate studio at the intersection of Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard.

The Amerikick Karate Association™ is a federally trademarked company offering martial arts franchising and support for opening and successfully operating martial arts schools of all styles and sizes.  Amerikick is one of the only associations offering regional directorships within the United States.

Ongoing Instructor and staff training

Amerikick® will train you and your staff on all aspects of school operations and instruction including: Sales, marketing, advertising, statistics, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly tasks, promotions and event planning, classroom teaching and mechanics and much more. Amerikick® offers ongoing training for you and your staff with weekly and monthly conference calls, instructor certifications and training sessions and will keep you on the cutting edge with the latest in martial arts teaching ideas, lesson plans and concepts.

Amerikick’s® proven successful curriculums

Amerikick® franchisees will benefit from the time tested and proven successful curriculums which are based on the traditional arts of Kenpo, Bando, Taekwondo, Shotokan, Wushu and Filipino Arnis in addition to modern boxing and kickboxing and sport karate. The age specific curriculums are designed to achieve maximum results in self defense, fitness and flexibility and yet challenge students in fun and exciting ways. Amerikick’s Character Development Program and Life Skills Program will enhance the value of your program by educating the student values and principles of self control, respect, leadership, discipline and focus. The Amerikick® curriculums will train you from age 3 to master level black belt instructor.
