Overview

Serving markets throughout the United States (see location listing), AEI is uniquely poised as the only National Engine Installation Company focusing on automotive engine installations. With our acquisition of Fliteline Engine Supply in 2003, AEI now also offers the option of providing quality factory remanufactured longblock engines directly to Franchisees providing them pricing, warranties, and availability not generally available through other suppliers.

A thirty mile exclusive territory assures that all installation jobs within your selected metropolitan area are routed to the Franchisee responsible for that county/city. A Franchise fee of $15,000, $25,000 or $37,500 purchases the Franchise license for a 30 mile radius of your selected metropolitan area, eliminating the need to share or compete with other AEI Franchise units. Additional stores within your area can be opened at a reduced Franchise fee of $10,000.

Products & Services

AEI puts quality at the top of our list because your product has to last. An intensive process control system is used to monitor all aspects of the remanufacturing process. Components are inspected after each operation and procedure. Only the highest quality parts and machine work are provided.

Engineering

At the Fliteline engine remanufacturing plant, extensive research goes into casting numbers, machining processes and tolerances, new part vendor selections and product applications. In addition, operators go through training that focuses on unique product features and processes. Potential problem areas may then be identified and corrected.

Disassembly

Each core is disassembled and inspected. Those components not suitable for further processing are scrapped. All small parts are cleaned and critical tolerances are checked. Worn parts are scrapped and replaced. All major components (crankcases, cylinder heads) are baked in gas-fired ovens to carbonize grease and dirt. Other components are chemically cleaned. Components then go through an abrasive blaster that removes all contaminants. Crankcases and cylinder heads are all magnafluxed to check for any cracks not found during visual inspections. Each component then moves to its respective matching area.

The installation of factory remanufactured engines or pre-owned engines into cars, trucks & vans. There is no need for expensive machining equipment or the costly labor associated with operating a machine shop. Engines are ordered as needed, reducing the need for costly overhead/inventory of engines.
