Our bakery-cafés offer upscale customers a variety of freshly baked authentic, New-York style bagels and proprietary cream cheeses. We also offer soups, made-to-order salads, hot panini's, deli-style sandwiches, custom-blended coffees, and scrumptious desserts. We offer a warm, inviting atmosphere for our customers in our newly designed bakery-cafés.

To be considered as a potential franchisee, we require the following skills and qualifications:

• Dedicated to customer satisfaction
• Willing to devote full-time efforts to building a successful business
• Willing to commit to 3 units within a specific timeframe.

Bruegger's is seeking franchisees that are adequately capitalized. We seek candidates with a minimum of $450,000 in liquid assets and $1,000,000 investment capability. These amounts correspond to our minimum requirement of developing 3 restaurants within a 3-year period. We estimate the start-up costs for a Bruegger's bakery-café will range from $368,600 to $568,600, which does not include the lease or purchase of real estate.
