What began as a small Petoskey, MI bakery in 1947 is now a nationwide business with 81 franchises in 15 states. We are growing east of the Mississippi with a current focus on the eastern seaboard.

It will cost between $ 307,897-$496,236(all inclusive) to open a Kilwin's store, depending on the size, location and time of year you open. Included in this price range is our franchise fee of $40,000. Our royalty fee is 5% per month and our National Marketing Fund fee is 1%.

Kilwin's offers single store, multiple store, or will enter into an exclusive territorial or area development agreement.

We support our franchise brand through “Kilwins University”. Kilwins U offers a week of classroom and retail store training at our headquarters in Petoskey, Michigan. Then, prior to your opening date, our experienced trainers will be at your store helping you with your first inventory order, merchandising, and preparation for your grand opening.

Kilwins Chocolates Franchise Locations

Our stores are located in beach and resort areas, quaint downtown areas, historical and tourist areas, upscale residential areas, and lifestyle centers. Our locations have a lot of pedestrian foot traffic and customers with leisure time. We will assist you with site selection, lease negotiations, store layout and design, the build-out and other logistics to get your store “up and running” as soon as possible.
