We have spent countless hours on research and development of our products, designs, procedures, recipes, and relationships within the company…and have made every effort to ensure not one single detail was overlooked.
Since we opened our first store inside the WAL*MART Super Center in Hannibal, Missouri, we have perfected our concept - taking full advantage of being located inside America's largest retail chain. This partnership has proven to be such a success So much in fact that the company was able to open 9 additional stores before our first year anniversary. We originally intended Papa Bello to function as a corporately owned and operated chain, but the demand for our pizza outlets and the immediate availability of WAL*MART locations necessitated the franchising of the brand. This growth potential offered to us by WAL*MART combined with a premiere product allows for a unique and profitable opportunity for our franchisees.

Training & Support
At Papa Bello, we're committed to the success of our franchise owners. For this reason we have put together a comprehensive three week training program to ensure the transition into your new life as a Papa Bello Franchisee is a smooth and easy one.
Following your acceptance as a Papa Bello franchisee, you will be scheduled to begin the Papa Bello comprehensive training program. This program includes:

The Papa Bello training program covers every aspect of store management and operations. Upon graduation, you will have mastered the skills and knowledge needed to successfully manage your own Papa Bello Pizza restaurant. But you will never be left in the dark if you have questions. A member of the Papa Bello training team is available at all times to help.
Following your acceptance as a Papa Bello franchisee, you will be scheduled to begin the Papa Bello comprehensive training program. This program includes:
- One week of hands-on training in a corporate owned store
- Two weeks of hands-on training in the franchisee's store

- Human Resources - Recruiting, Interviewing, Hiring, Training and Motivating
- Store Opening and Closing Procedures
- Bookkeeping
- Working together with WAL*MART (as applicable)

- Food & Paper Cost Guide

- Inventory Control
- Sanitation
- Equipment Care and Maintenance

- POS (Point Of Sale) System Operation

The approx. 2000 sq. ft. of restaurant space we have at the front door entrance allows us to capitalize on the nearly 10,000 people who shop at WAL*MART each day.
Are You a Good Fit for Papa Bello Pizza and Subs?
Franchise Qualification CriteriaTo be considered as a Papa Bello Franchisee you must meet the following criteria:
- Ability to provide the initial investment required to open a store We currently do not offer financing.
- You must be willing to be a full-time, on-site owner/operator
- You must meet the following net worth and capital requirements
1-3 Stores
Net worth of at least $250,000 with a minimum of $250,000 per restaurant in cash, liquid assets, available financing, or any combination thereof.
4-10 Stores
Net worth of at least $1,000,000 with a minimum of $250,000 per restaurant in cash, liquid assets, available financing, or any combination thereof.
11 or more
Net worth of at least $2,000,000 with a minimum of $250,000 per restaurant in cash, liquid assets, available financing, or any combination thereof.
