When the Mineo family moved from New York to Colorado, they found everything to their liking except for one thing. No "Buffalo Style" chicken wings! Knowing that Colorado residents would come to love wings every bit as much as they did, they decided to open their own restaurant in 1981, and Colorado residents loved it.
The restaurant was purchased by the current owners in 1992 and they are now serving over 7000 pounds of wings each week. The same great sauce that makes our wings so irresistible is now available in 6 different varieties.
Today, we are offering franchises so restauranteurs can open their own Wingman.

Training & Support
From the time you sign your franchise agreement, you and your Franchise Field Representative will become a team. Your FFR will help you with everything from your site selection to periodic visits every year throughout the term of your Franchise Agreement.You will receive support in the form of on-going research and development from the franchise company, continual menu review and development, as well as administrative review for streamlining back-office procedures.
Not only do we provide two sets of training for you when you sign the franchise agreement, but we are on-site for your opening AND we host other training sessions throughout the year.
Our hands-on training program at our company store allows you to learn our systems in a real-life environment. You will work with an experienced group of employees and our overly-experienced Training Managers. You will be instructed in the essentials of restaurant operations, labor management, administration, marketing and a broad range of other subjects needed to successfully operate your WINGMAN store. This 17 day program gets you ready to run your own WINGMAN.

Wingman has developed a Local Store Marketing program covering everything from pre-opening to grand opening to on-going marketing.
We provide guidelines for advertising, promotions, and the utilization of our trademarks. Advertising material will be created for you to use in your own WINGMAN store.
No matter what market you are in, site selection is the most critical component in the whole franchise process.
Wingman has a comprehensive site selection criteria which you and your real estate broker will review for each site you are evaluating. Depending on your market, site selection may be difficult. A tight market, or even a new development, may be difficult to penetrate when looking for a location.
Our plans for build out will depend on the location that is approved. Wingman locations are designed to bright and friendly. We are very community focused, and the layout of the restaurant demonstrates it.
Our construction consultants have shown an attention to detail. From the layout of the kitchen to the ceiling fans, we have produced a quick service restaurant that is bright and inviting.
You will see that when a Wingman is built-out, your Franchise Field Representative will be there to make sure that construction is on-track and looking good.
