WisePies Pizza & Salad expands into the Southwest Region To Include 5 States
Albuquerque, NM – December 9, 2014 – WisePies Pizza & Salad, a family pizza joint, today announced the launch of national franchising opportunities focusing on Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Nevada. WisePies Pizza & Salad opened its first store on January 18, 2014, currently has three stores and is forecasting the construction of more than 20 additional stores for 2015 in the Southwest region. To open a new WisePies Pizza & Salad restaurant, there is a franchise fee of $35,000 and investors need to have $150,000 in liquid assets. These requirements do not reflect the total investment needed which varies based on the market, store location and restaurant features.
The first franchisee for WisePies Pizza & Salad, Ken Otteni, is a long-time Albuquerque resident and successful, local business man. Otteni states, “When I saw the first WisePies Pizza & Salad in action last January, I was impressed with the concept and loved the idea of owning my own family pizza joint. I am proud to be part of a company that maintains such a strong commitment to the fundamentals of their development.” Otteni opened his first WisePies Pizza & Salad restaurant on his birthday, July 14, 2014, at 6261 Riverside Plaza Lane on the northeast corner of Coors and Montano near Defined Fitness.
As announced on December 1, 2014, WisePies Pizza & Salad solidified their commitment to the community and foundational company growth by making national headlines from securing the naming rights to The University of New Mexico’s University Arena now called WisePies Arena and nicknamed The Pit.
On the recent naming rights news, Otteni added, “I am thrilled to see a strong dedication to the growth and longevity of this company.
