Madison, WI – October 2012— Crescendo® proudly opened a third U. S. location in a Central Market gourmet grocery store in San Antonio, Texas.  The shop-in-shop program features Europe’s premium and exclusive culinary olive and infused oils, nut and seed oils, fruit vinegars, a selection of aged balsamic and a full line of the finest spices. 

A Crescendo shop-in-shop is designed for specialty grocers looking to partner with a supplier who can provide a successful one-stop solution for offering exclusive products that are easy to sell, have attractive margins and are creatively merchandised and sampled.  Crescendo® products are not offered by any other supplier.  The point-of-production packaging in a dual layered, food safe bag-in-box gives the product its ‘artisanal’ quality.  The interior bag is a non-additive food safe plastic and the outer layer is puncture and oxygen resistant – thus providing a product that is not exposed to oxygen or light until bottled locally – maximizing its freshness.

Crescendo provides artisanal culinary oils, fruit and balsamic vinegars and exotic spices sourced from around the world. There are currently Crescendo stores in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Taipei, Germany and Switzerland.  In the U.S., there are shop-in-shops in New Orleans, San Antonio and Fort Worth, Texas.  New stores are scheduled to open in Austin, Texas and Fort Collins, Colorado, along with other gourmet grocers opening in several states before the end of the year.
