For U.S. Veterans, Mathnasium Learning Centers Further Reduces Franchise Fee
February 20, 2011
Los Angeles, CA, April 23, 2009 – In a move to increase financial assistance for U.S. veterans interested in franchise ownership, Mathnasium Learning Centers has announced further reductions in its franchise fee for former military personnel. Through the International Franchise Association’s VetFran program, Mathnasium now offers a 50% discount off its $24,500 franchise fee for honorably discharged veterans.
Nearly 400 International Franchise Association member-companies voluntarily participate in VetFran, offering financial incentives designed to promote franchise ownership for U.S. veterans. Mathnasium has been involved with VetFran since November 2009, initially offering veterans a discount of $2,500 off the franchise fee. “We are proud to be involved with a program like VetFran,” says Peter Markovitz, president of Mathnasium. “Our veterans have served our country well and we’ve lowered our franchise fee to provide even more of these talented and highly qualified individuals greater access to an affordable business opportunity that will help ease their transition back to civilian life.”
