MANCHESTER, NH – The Meat House, more commonly known as the modern revival of the neighborhood butcher, announces the launch of “Meat House Catering” and appointment of Amber Lorden as the company’s new Catering & Events Manager.

Anchored by more than 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Lorden will oversee the company’s new catering business throughout New Hampshire and Maine. Meat House Catering will offer corporate and social meal solutions, including sandwiches, luncheons, backyard BBQ’s, wedding and holiday catering, and much more.

“This is an exciting time for us as we continue to strengthen our footprint in the retail meat market and offer our customers a superior level of personalized service and satisfaction,” said Justin Rosberg, co-founder and CEO of the New Hampshire-based chain. “Catering will no doubt become an essential component of our business model and we’re excited that Amber has agreed to help us formally launch it.”

Prior to joining The Meat House, Lorden worked as the Events and Banquet Manager at Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth. While at Redhook, Lorden worked closely with The Meat House for two years, planning Operation: Thank You and Polar Grill Fest, two annual co-sponsored events that raise money for charitable organizations.

“It was during the planning and execution of these events that we became interested in Amber and the potential value she could add to our team,” Rosberg added.
