Moran Industries, Inc. Announces Management Buy Out

Franchisor for Mr. Transmission, Milex Complete Auto Care and Alta Mere recently completed a Management Buy Out by CEO/President Barbara Moran.

Chicago, IL, October18, 2010 -- Barbara Moran, CEO and President of Moran Industries, Inc. recently announced her management buy out of the automotive aftermarket franchisor that includes, Mr. Transmission, Multistate Transmission, Dr. Nick’s Transmission, Milex Complete Auto Care, Alta Mere Toys for Your Car and Smartview Window Solutions.  Since 1999, Ms. Moran has been the President /CEO of the business her father, Dennis Moran, founded in 1990.  As a long time shareholder and executive of the family run business, she has worked her way up the ranks to become one of the only female CEO’s in the male dominated automotive repair industry and now, it’s only female owner.
