USA Today Recognizes Chem-Dry as One of the “Top 50 Franchises for Minorities”

Chem-Dry Stands Out in Annual Survey by National Minority Franchising Initiative

Nashville, TN – On October 12, 2012, USA Today published a list of the “Top 50 Franchises for Minorities”, marking the sixth annual survey conducted by the National Minority Franchising Initiative (NMFI) to acknowledge franchisors who best demonstrate their commitment to the recruitment, inclusion and on-going support of minorities through action.  Several hundred franchisors submitted information to qualify for this honor, and only the highest-scoring companies made the cut – Chem-Dry being one of them.

Franchisors across North America submitted quantitative information regarding minority participation within their existing franchised and company-owned units, as well as minority representation on their corporate staff, with an annual salary of $60,000 or more.

Inclusion in this “Top 50” list recognizes Chem-Dry as a company that has greatly contributed to the increasing percentage of minority franchise owners throughout the last ten years, rising from 8-10% to a present 16%. The North American minority population is currently at 28%, and thanks to these franchises, the number of minorities joining the franchise community is only continuing to grow.
