Springdale, Ohio, June 17, 2010 — With a hot new Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurant taking flight in Springdale (Tri County), Ohio, the friendship of Lithuania natives Edvin Rajauskas and Val Kirielius will become a partnership in pursuit of the American dream.  The new franchise opens Monday, June 21, 2010 for a private VIP event, and is open to the public on Wednesday, June 23, 2010.  A special Grand Opening Celebration will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010 featuring a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. with city officials.  The doors will open at 11 a.m. and the first 100 customers that day will receive a FREE Buffalo Wings & Rings pint glass, T-shirt, and $5-off coupon.  Four of the pint glasses will have a $100 gift card inside!

As immigrants from Lithuania, the pair’s similar backgrounds led Edvin and Val to become friends when they met in America.  They are using their restaurant and food service experience – along with a strong work ethic – to pursue their hopes and dreams together.  The partners will run the franchise as a team.

“To open a Buffalo Wings & Rings is a fantastic opportunity, and we could not pass it up,” Edvin said.  “We just thought: ‘If not now, when?’”

Buffalo Wings & Rings has achieved the top spot on Restaurant Business magazine’s annual “The Future 50” list, a ranking of the top 50 fastest-growing restaurant chains in the country.  The chain was also named one of the top 500 franchises as ranked by Entrepreneur magazine.

“This is an exciting time for us,” Val said. “The people who live in the area are really looking forward to having a Buffalo Wings & Rings.  And we believe our Express Lunch exclusive offers a casual and valuable lunchtime dining option for Springdale’s business professionals.  There are currently very few options within this niche and price point for lunch, so we’re excited to offer that option to the community.”

The Buffalo Wings & Rings menu features a wide array of fare suited to both adults and children, including traditional and boneless Buffalo-style wings, and hand-breaded chicken tenders – all available in nine sauces with five customizable levels of heat.  Guests are encouraged to dunk their favorite wings in the Buffalo Wings & Rings homemade bleu cheese dressing.  The menu also features massive burgers, crisp salads and authentic charbroiled gyros, plus a full range of appetizers, including nachos, chili-drenched sloppy fries, popcorn shrimp and mozzarella sticks.

Tri County will enjoy these Buffalo Wings & Rings favorites alongside sporting events on more than two dozen televisions – including a large projection TV – featuring full access to NFL Sunday Ticket and UFC events.  The restaurant will offer seating for more than 250 diners, including outside dining and a private party room.

Buffalo Wings & Rings is located at 11305 Princeton Pike in Springdale between Tri County Parkway and Merchant Street.  The hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays.  For more information, call 513-772-2111.
