Health club to hold "Discovery Day" in St. Louis on July 28
St. Louis, Mo. - From instant brand awareness to built-in support, franchises are the right choice when starting your own business in today's economy; and Planet Fitness, a leader in the health club industry, is looking to expand in the Midwest.
A franchise "Discovery Day" will be held July 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the HOTELUMIÈRE in St. Louis, Mo. People interested in owning a Planet Fitness club are encouraged to attend and see for themselves the franchise opportunities available in St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield.
Huge incentives - no franchise fee, guaranteed financing, and cash from landlords - will be offered at the event. Prospective franchisees can review single-unit and multi-club areas in wide-open markets that are ready for development. In addition, Planet Fitness corporate staff and franchisees, as well as lenders and real estate brokers, will be on hand to answer any questions.
Look no further than Bronx, N.Y. to find a shining example of how owning a Planet Fitness franchise can lead to success. The Bronx location on 225th St., which opened in June 2007, has more than 23,000 members and takes in $400,000 a month in membership dues.
"I'd always dreamed of owning a health club, but this kind of success just didn't seem possible," said Jeff Innocenti, co-owner of the Bronx location. "Then I heard about the Planet Fitness franchise and, as a result of their business model, we are one of the most profitable health and fitness clubs in the nation."
Planet Fitness attributes its success to a relatively simple business model - give customers extremely high value for an extremely low price. For $10 to $19.99 a month, Planet Fitness customers enjoy stylish, clean facilities equipped with name-brand cardio and strength machines, as well as a relaxed, Judgement Free Zone® atmosphere.
Franchises not only have instant brand awareness, they also benefit from a built-in support network. Start-up and ongoing assistance includes: site selection, financing, club layout and construction, comprehensive business operations training, and marketing.
