Farmers Insurance Group currently offers many entry points to become a Farmers Agent. You can start your agency by either leveraging your business savvy and buy an existing agency or build a new agency from the ground up by investing time, hard work and some capital. Both programs offer you great financial support. Financial Support: |
- Purchasing an existing agency – Tremendous program for individuals looking for an immediate source of monthly income. Under this program you will purchase the entire book of business from an existing agent. All renewal commissions are transferred to new agent. Renewal commission are on top of new business commissions you will produce. Building a New Agency – You will have access to performance based bonuses during the first three years after appointment, on top of new business commissions.
- In addition, in your first year Farmers Insurance Group will also reimburse you up to $10,000 for agency startup cost and up to $5,000 in lead generation.
