French Florist offers a D2C e-commerce driven flower shop franchise — a modern, technology-forward take on an industry that's ready for disruption. Unlike traditional floral businesses, our model is built around three pillars that set franchisees up to compete and win: cutting-edge tech, sophisticated D2C marketing, and a tightly managed supply chain that sources directly from farms across the globe.

What makes a French Florist franchise different comes down to those three pillars working together. Our proprietary operating software is an all-in-one integrated system, handling everything from order management and dispatch to analytics and customer relationship management. Our marketing infrastructure gives franchisees access to elite agency partnerships at a fraction of the typical cost. And our supply chain, sourcing directly from farms in Ecuador, Holland, Colombia, Mexico, and beyond, delivers quality that customers notice. This isn't a franchise opportunity built on a logo and a handbook. It's a complete operating system for running a modern floral business.

No floral experience is required to become a French Florist franchisee. We're looking for people with solid business fundamentals: someone who is comfortable hiring, onboarding, and managing a team, understands a P&L, and is ready to be hands-on in the shop — especially in that critical first six to nine months. If you're a motivated operator who holds yourself to a high standard, we can teach you the rest.

French Florist has been a premier name in floral since the original Beverly Hills location opened in 1978. Michael Jacobson took ownership in 2018 with a vision to modernize the business from the ground up, investing in proprietary technology, refining the brand experience, and eliminating reliance on order aggregators entirely. Franchising launched in 2024, and we're actively expanding our footprint beyond Southern California. We've served more than one million customers, and our affiliate-owned shops have achieved gross margins averaging 72%.

From day one, French Florist franchisees have access to French Florist University — our online LMS with more than 200 videos covering every key role in the business. New owners receive three days of in-person training, and lead designers receive three days of their own. Beyond the initial onboarding, ongoing support includes operational guidance, wholesale relationships, vendor partnerships, bookkeeping support, and business coaching. You're building your own business, but you're never building it alone.
