Baltimore Owner Paints Landmark for Episode of “Kitchen Nightmares” With Celeb Chef Gordon Ramsay
(Baltimore, Md.)—When CertaPro Painters co-owner Lorena Streb was called to paint a Baltimore landmark restaurant by the producers of the popular Fox show, “Kitchen Nightmares” featuring celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, she jumped at the opportunity. Although the project required a quick turnaround, Streb’s crew agreed to overnight production and was on site from 10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6 to 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7 to paint the perimeter walls in the main dining room and the small dining room of the restaurant, Café Hon.
“I was thrilled when our office received the offer for the job,” said Streb. “Even though it was a last-minute project, my team was able to come together for this amazing opportunity to not only paint a local landmark but also contribute to something that has a nationwide following. I’m a fan of the show myself so it’s very exciting to be personally involved in the makeover process.”
