World Wrapps is broadly credited with having initiated the "wrapps" restaurant category in 1996, serving flavorful and healthy high-quality international dishes, such as Thai Chicken, Samurai Salmon, Teriyaki Chicken or Tofu, Spanish Paella, Bombay Currie Chicken or Veggie, Spicy Southwest Shrimp, Caribbean Sole, Portobello Mushroom & Goat Cheese, Summer Barbecue and more. These dishes are wrapped in flavored colored tortillas (including bright colored spinach and roma tomato flavors) or served in bowls, as a healthy and tasty alternative to traditional fast foods. Beverages include blended fruit smoothies and juices. Restaurateurs from around the world came to San Francisco when word spread of the huge success of our first restaurant. There were many copies and knock-offs, including some by large restaurant groups, but few have survived, primarily because they lacked the intense concentration on food quality and flavors central to our World Wrapps' culture.

In 1996 World Wrapps was named one of the Ten Hot New Concepts of the Year by Nations Restaurant News, and has received exceptionally good reviews from numerous restaurant critics over the years, including feature articles in notable publications such as Bon Appetite and Living Well Magazine. World Wrapps is now a tested restaurant concept in the rapidly growing healthy fast-casual segment of the restaurant industry. We provide flavorful and healthy food and beverages as good or better than leading casual restaurants, but with counter service that is faster and at prices closer to fast food outlets. In other words, compared to normal fast food, customers at World Wrapps can spend a little more money for much better meals, while spending considerably less time and money than if they had chosen to eat at a table-service casual restaurant. The healthy fast-casual segment is projected to attract customers and grow more rapidly than any other segment of the restaurant business, which is exactly why this is the right business space to occupy in the foreseeable future. When you consider various other food franchises, as you should, what else out there is really new and growing?Are You a Good Fit for World Wrapps?
The total investment for a World Wrapps restaurant (not including three months' extra operating expenses, which can run from $100,000 to $170,000) typically runs between $200,000 and $430,000. With proper financing requiring 20% to 30% down, the cash required is typically $50,000 to $150,000. This is a very much lower investment and cash requirement than most other casual and fast food restaurants, which have become almost prohibitively expensive for a new franchisee. If your first World Wrapps restaurant is successful, you should be able to have a second and then a third before too long, thereby building a substantial growing business with a relatively low initial investment. We are looking for franchisees with at least five years experience in the restaurant business or its equivalent, who have a passion for World Wrapps and wish to develop at least three restaurants, and who have a minimum liquid net worth of $100,000.
